Project Overview
Material-controlled piping execution for a major refinery revamp.
Cosmo Engineering Company completed piping works for the AU-5 Revamp Unit under the Petrochemical and Lube Integration Project “LUPECH” (J-L8) at IOCL’s Gujarat Refinery in Vadodara. The work order was issued by Sopan O & M Company Private Limited.
The work-order scope included piping fabrication and erection, valve installation, pipe-support and structural work, together with associated modification and dismantling activities.
Execution Controls
Material segregation, pipe preparation, fit-up, welding, inspection coordination and completion tracking across multiple metallurgy classes.
Completion
Completed in 2024 with the material-classified inch-dia quantities consolidated from the work-order BOQ.

Material classification note
MS includes Carbon Steel, LTCS, IBR Carbon Steel and Galvanised Carbon Steel. Unclassified modification and dismantling quantities are separately recorded and excluded. Piping erection recorded in inch-meter is also excluded from these inch-dia totals.
